Book Review: Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
Hi there! I’m Artiom. Have you ever read a book that you just couldn’t put down? Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was like that for me. It was written by J.K. Rowling, a British author. The book was first published in 1997 and became the first novel in the famous Harry Potter series. It quickly became very popular around the world.
It is set mainly in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the United Kingdom. It tells the story of Harry Potter, a young boy who discovers he is a wizard on his eleventh birthday. The story shows Harry’s first adventures in the magical world, his battles with challenges, and his first encounter with the dark wizard Lord Voldemort. There are lots of twists and turns along the way. It is a story about friendship, courage, and believing in yourself. I guarantee you’ll love it.
What I loved about the book was the magical world and the exciting adventures. The story is very gripping. I also loved the characters. Harry is brave and kind, Hermione is clever, and Ron is loyal and funny. Their friendship makes the story impressive. The one criticism I have about the book is that some parts of the story feel a little slow at the beginning.
In conclusion, this book is a real page-turner. I absolutely loved it and I’d highly recommend it. So if you haven’t read Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone yet, buy it or borrow it. You won’t be disappointed.
