The Color of Joy, Activity and Friendliness

Hi there! I’m Liliya. Here is my essay about the color orange.

If you were a color, what color would you be and why? Describe characteristics of your choice color and be sure to use descripted details and examples in your narative.

I am sure you have heard this phrase before: “Tell me your favourite colour and I can tell you about your character.” Have you ever thought about why people say that? Let me explain.

Colours are connected with emotions and can influence our mood. For example, if I were a colour, I would be orange. Orange is associated with joy, activity, and friendliness. People who like this colour are usually open and optimistic. If someone looks at me, they would say that I am active, friendly, and always ready to share positive emotions. I often hear: “You attract people with your smile,” and I agree with it. For me, it’s easy to make new friends.

Other colours also have special meanings. Blue is connected with peace and calmness, green with balance, and red is a symbol of passion. Every person has a favourite colour, and it often shows their personality.

To sum up, colours can tell us a lot about a person’s emotions and character. Thanks to this, we can learn something about a person. Do you already know what your colour says about you?
