Writing: Film Review

Hello, I’m Liliya and this is a short film review of the film I’ve recently seen. I don’t usually like watching movies, but this one really touched my heart. I want to talk about the movie Murder Mystery 2.

Murder Mystery 2 is a 2023 American action comedy mystery film directed by Jeremy Garelick and written by James Vanderbilt. It is a sequel to the 2019 film Murder Mystery, and it stars Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.

The story follows a New York City police officer, Nick Spitz, and his wife, Audrey, who is a hairdresser. Nick and Audrey have opened their own detective agency, but instead of exciting investigations, they are forced to track unfaithful husbands and barely make ends meet. Just in time, they receive an invitation to the wedding of their friend from a previous adventure –  Indian billionaire Vikram. It’s not a regular wedding, but an Indian-themed one. The couple arrives on a private island and finds themselves at a grand pre-wedding party, during which it turns out that the groom has been kidnapped and his bodyguard has been killed.

Nick and Audrey start their own investigation in Paris. They follow clues and finally find the friend at the Eiffel Tower. A fight happens there, but in the end, they win. At the end of the movie, they hang a love lock on a bridge in Paris and decide to extend their vacation.

I really liked the movie because it had a lot of funny moments, even though the title sounds serious. The plot is rather thrilling and the acting is convincing.

In my opinion, this movie is good to watch for almost any occasion because it has romance, comedy, and detective elements. I recommend this movie to everyone!
