Hi there! I’m Dasha and here’s my essay about future plans.

Currently, I am a 17-year-old high school student, and in just a month, I will be leaving the school that has been a part of my life for the past 11 years. As I prepare to graduate, I am excited to begin the next stage of my life that almost everyone has gone through. My intention is to attend university and earn my Bachelor’s degree in psychology.

Although I am looking forward to studying psychology, I am also aware that I will need to adapt to new people and surroundings, and learn to express myself in a confident and worthy manner. In addition, I will be moving to a bigger city than my hometown, which will be a big change for me. I am sure that these changes will provide me with new experiences and make me wiser. As they say, “When one door closes, another one opens.”

I also recognize that I want to become independent from my parents in the near future. It’s a part of growing up when you move out of your parents’ house and start earning your own money to sustain your daily life.

Unlike my parents and grandparents, who grew up with strict attitudes, I am grateful that my generation places our wishes and comfort at the forefront of our lives. I don’t want to work just to pay bills; I want to create positive memories and enjoy life. When I am old, I want to look back on my life with a smile on my face and without any regrets. Therefore, my biggest ambition is to travel. Our planet is full of fascinating and unique places, and there are many cultures with mesmerizing traditions that cannot be fully experienced through books or videos. It’s better to see everything with your own eyes!

Life has taught me that plans can fall apart, even when it’s not your fault. As the saying goes, “If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans.” However, if I have true ambitions and goals, I believe that I will be able to overcome any obstacle and achieve my dreams. I hope that my future will be even better than I can imagine.
