Here is a sampe of a personal introduction for a webpage written by Vlad.

My name is Vlad. I’m 12 years old. I come from Ukraine. I’m Ukrainian. I live in a small but old town of Kaniv. My hometown is more than 900 years old. It is situated on a picturesque bank of the Dnipro River, one of the biggest rivers in Europe.

I live with my family in a detached house. We are four: mum, dad, my younger brother and me. My cute little brother is ten years my junior. I’m fond of playing with him.

I’m in Year 6, which is the second year of basic or middle school. I’m good at some school subjects like Math, English, History, Literature PE and IT. I have two least favourite subjects, they are art and music. I’m not shy and I like acting in school plays. I want to be a lawyer like my dad so I must study hard. In general I like learning because it is exciting and it isn’t a problem for me to study all the subjects. I believe school is important but some of the lessons are really boring.

I’ve got personal webpages on Facebook, Viber, Instagram and sometimes chat with my friends but I don’t do it very often. I also have a personal page on the English site where I post some of my projects. I can’t understand people who surf the internet all day. I think that it’s better to go out and play basketball, go scootering or cycling. Fishing is my big passion. I go fishing with my dad all the year round.

I like listening to hip hop music and rap. I’ve got a guitar but can’t play it very well so I’m not a great musician. I hate dancing. I’m interested in photography. I’ve got a good camera and I like taking scenic photos of awesome Kaniv nature. I don’t like painting and drawing but when I have some free time I sometimes draw. I also like reading fantasy books, like novels about Harry Potter. They say reading books is good for your imagination.
