Tell about your school

My school is number 2 in the town of Kaniv. It is a gymnasia after Ivan Franko.

Our school is in Soborna Square. It is the centre of our town. But it`s far from my house. It takes me 30 minutes to get to school on the bus.

There are 450 students in our school and they have classes in several buildings.

There are from 20 up to 30 students in every class.

The lessons start at 8 a.m. and are over at 3 p.m.

Our school is a day school. There are a lot of subjects that you can study, such as Art, Biology, Chemistry, Technology, English, Ukrainian, Ukrainian Literature, History, Maths , Music, Physics, Chemistry, IT, PE, Craft and some others.

As for our school facilities, we’ve got a canteen, an assembly hall, a library, a computer room, a football pitch, a Science lab and a playground. There isn’t a gym in our school and we have to go to the College of Culture for our PE classes.

The headmaster of our school is Olga Antonivna Livoruk.

I have been studying at my school for seven years and I think it is the best school in my town because I’ve got lots of friends here!
