I have recently read the story called “The Last Leaf”. It is a story by an American author called O’Henry .

I would like to recommend this story to people who enjoy drama and realism. It is set in America and the main characters are two American girls Sue and Johnsy. The plot centres on the relationship between the girls.

I particularly enjoyed the charecters and the theme of friendship in the story. I was deeply impressed by the sacrifice of an old artist who painted the leaf on the wall to save Johnsy. It was his masterpiece.

All in all, I really enjoyed the story and I would not change the plot or characters. This story is easy to read, with strong ending and a clear message.
